BANGKOK, 8 March 2018: Thai Airways International hosted the recent IATA Legal Symposium 2018 organised by the International Air Transport Association.
Opened by Thailand’s Minister of Transport Arkhom Termpittayapaisith (4th from left), the event was hosted at Shangrila Hotel, Bangkok.
IATA’s annual legal symposiums are an international aviation law conference where important legal issues are discussed that impact on airline members of IATA.
Also attending the opening ceremony was Flight Lieutenant Kanok Thongpurk (3rd from left), THAI executive vice president, Legal Management and General Administration, on behalf of THAI’s acting president, Jeffrey Shane (2nd from left), IATA general counsel, Leslie Lugo (6th from left), assistant general counsel, IATA, Carlos Tornero (7th from left), deputy general counsel, IATA, and Sitdhinai Chantranon (5th from left), director of the executive vice president, Legal Management and General Administration.
Over 250 IATA members attended the event.
