Hilton signs two in Bengaluru

-

BENGALURU, 20 March 2018: Hilton announced, Monday, an expansion of its hotel portfolio in India, following the signing of management agreements with Embassy Group for two hotels in Bengaluru.

The deak involves the management of a 500-room dual-branded hotel that features a Hilton Hotels & Resorts and a Hilton Garden Inn hotel in the same complex.

The two branded hotels will be located within the 100-acre Embassy TechVillage Business Park near Marathalli on ORR South Bengaluru.

Following the success of Hilton Bangalore Embassy Golf Links and the subsequent signing of the first dual-branded 620-keys twin hotels at Embassy Manyata Business Park, this is the third project with Hilton.

Construction should begin this year and the hotels will be operational by end 2021 of early 2022.

The announcement reinforces Embassy Group’s strategic roll-out of hospitality ventures, strengthening its long-standing partnership with Hilton Hotels. As per the agreement, the dual-branded property would be developed and owned by the Embassy Group and managed by Hilton.

Hilton Bangalore Embassy TechVillage will feature 300 rooms, while the Hilton Garden Inn Bangalore Embassy TechVillage will have 200 rooms.

The new dual-branded property’s design is being undertaken by Singapore-based Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates.

The property will be part of a mixed-use development and will house a F&B and retail hub, over one million square feet of A Grade commercial towers and a 30,000 sq ft convention facility.
