TAT and BBDO launch new shades

BANGKOK, 19 February 2018: BBDO Bangkok, in partnership with Tourism Authority of Thailand, has  unveiled Thailand’s latest global campaign under the Amazing Thailand branding, titled ‘Open to the New Shades’.

Introduced to the travel trade at the World Travel Market in London last November, the consumer campaign is now up and running focusing on the country’s signature attractions; beaches, cultural festivals and food.

However, it attempts to encourage travellers to explore hidden, diversified local cultural experiences to comply with a government policy to disperse travel to secondary destinations.

TAT and BBDO Bangkok in the latest media release said the new campaign would introduce the new shades of Thailand, by inviting travellers to experience Thailand “through a different lens, and shed light on Thailand’s celebration of diversity.”

To best reach its target audience, BBDO Bangkok has created a two-minute online video that focuses on three different groups of travellers who encounter unexplored, new shades of Thailand. Discover their journeys at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezNS2blyT74&t=2s
