GTA gives G-Shop agents more points

-

SINGAPORE 12 February 2018: Global travel distributor GTA, which is part of the Hotelbeds Group, has launched a ‘double the points, double the rewards’ campaign.

It aims to encourage travel agents and to drum up business during the February to March holiday season.

With more than 7,000 registered G-Shop travel agency members in Asia, GTA hopes to motivate more agents to sign up for its loyalty programme where members can redeem exciting rewards such as the latest smartphones and vouchers from major brands.

GTA’s regional director of retail sales, Asia, Stuart Dale, said: “It’s exciting times for GTA as we join the Hotelbeds Group to become the leading distributor of hotels and travel services.

“Retail travel agents form a vital part of the overall strategy so it’s important that we deepen our relationships with these valued partners and continuously engage them with our loyalty programme.”

New and existing G-Shop members will earn double G-Shop points for every hotel booking made at top Asia destinations Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.

Popular European and America cities such as Paris, Milan, New York and Los Angeles are eligible for the promotion too.

To qualify for the promotion, hotel bookings must be made by 31 March and travel must be completed by 30 June. Points earned can be accumulated until 31 March 2019 to redeem bigger rewards.

Existing G-Shop members would receive the relevant promotion materials in their email inbox and new agents who have completed bookings with GTA can register online at www.gshop-gta.com.

GTA retail, TravelCube and Travel Bound, as well as GTA wholesale, process over 21,000 bookings daily, in more than 25 languages. In October 2017, GTA became part of Hotelbeds Group, a global bed-bank.
