Free internet on some AK flights

-

SEPANG, 22 February 2018:  AirAsia’s loyalty programme members gained free internet access, effective Wednesday, on aircraft that are ROKKI enabled.

ROKKI is an outsourced entertainment platform that supplies internet connectivity for AsiaAsia flights

All AirAsia’s ‘BIG Members’ are given a 2MB Chat Plan for access to WhatsApp, WeChat, LINE, KakaoTalk and Viber application every time they fly on a ROKKI-enabled flight.

BIG Members need to connect to ROKKI Wi-Fi during the flight and log in to the ROKKI portal (rokki.com) using their AirAsia BIG login details to automatically redeem the plan.

ROKKI CEO, Lalitha Sivanaser said: “We hope that this free inflight internet will help guests stay in touch with their friends and family and get the latest updates no matter where they are.”

ROKKI is an inflight entertainment and connectivity platform that offers guests free entertainment, music, games and news, as well as shopping features while they fly.

The service is available on 44 ROKKI-enabled aircraft so far. The airline has a fleet of 92 aircraft serving 74 destinations (excluding subsidiaries).
