Bangkok Airways engages Expedia sales

BANGKOK, 22 February 2018: Bangkok Airways is partnering with Expedia to add a new distribution channel and drive marketing campaigns globally.

The airline reported that it has seen a  boost in ticket sales through various sales channels that are part of the Expedia group and its subsidiaries especially in North America, Europe and Australasia.

Effective Thursday, passengers can now make reservations for all Bangkok Airways’ flights through the different Expedia channels such as www.expedia.com (www.expedia.co.th in Thailand) Expedia’s mobile application on both iOS and Android or at any Expedia customer service center worldwide.

Bangkok Airways’ vice president sales, Varong Israsena Na Ayudhya said: “It’s another significant milestone for Bangkok Airways to collaborate with Expedia group… It will enable us to offer passengers a broader choice of booking channels.”

Expedia also has a strong sales partnership with the AirAsia group that even includes plastering the online booking site’s logo on some of its planes.
