SINGAPORE, 31 January 2018: YTL Hotels will reopen the Academy, this April, following a major interior remake of the five Georgian townhouses that make up the London hotel.
Situated in Bloomsbury, close to the British Museum in London’s West End, the Academy will also become part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection.
The Academy is YTL’s second property in the UK after the Gainsborough Bath Spa.
The latest addition to the YTL Hotels will house 50 guest rooms across five townhouses, while a redesign of public spaces will see the Alchemy Bar re-housed on the ground floor, leading through to the property’s garden. The lower ground floor will house The Refectory, used as a breakfast room and for functions.
