NEW DELHI 22 January 2018: India tapping the latest App technology to introduce a digital calendar for travel consumers for the first time.

The Press Information Bureau of India said the App featuring a comprehensive calendar of events for 2018 was in line with the government’s Digital India initiative.

The “Incredible India Digital Calendar-2018” was launched 12 January in New Delhi along with the traditional Incredible India Wall & Desk Calendar for 2018.

The Incredible India Digital calendar application enables users to get the latest information on events and festivals happening in India on their mobiles. The Digital Calendar can be downloaded on Android and iOS platforms.

It gives users exclusive features and helps travellers plan their itinerary while on the go. It can also be used as a personal planners and allows users to create and manage personal events, get regular notifications on the upcoming festivals and events, allows set up of customize reminders for individual events. Users can share events with friends and contacts.

On a daily basis the App will provide a stunning image of tourist destinations from across India, which can be shared on various social media platforms .

This year’s Incredible India wall calendar 2018 has been crafted using illuminating paints that  glow in the dark. Anyone going through the calendar will get a glimpse of how drastically different yet equally beautiful India can be before and after sundown.

The Incredible India Desk calendar 2018 profiles 12 different kinds of travellers and suggests the appropriate destinations for them. The theme of the Desk Calendar is “India for Everyone” showcasing India’s incredible destinations for travellers.
