Wharf opens in Chongqing

HONG KONG, 11 September 2017: Wharf Hotels opened Niccolo Chongqing, 8 September, in the mountain city of Southwest China.

The latest in the Niccolo collection is a member of Global Hotel Alliance’s Ultratravel Collection.

The city’s international sky hotel is located in the heart of Jiangbeizui, Chongqing’s new Central Business District.

The 252-room Niccolo Chongqing, is locate on levels 54 through 62 of a mixed-use building that has sweeping views of Chongqing’s spectacular landscape, its mountains  and the dramatic confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers.

Forming a part of Chongqing IFS, the city’s new development incorporates the hotel, high-end office space, residences and luxury retail outlets.

Niccolo Chongqing is a 30-minute drive from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport with easy access to the metro station linking the rest of the city.

A special opening offer starting at CNY818 per room, per night,  comes with buffet breakfast and CNY100 cash credit to be enjoyed across the hotel’s new dining concepts, Niccolo Kitchen and The Tea Lounge.

The first Niccolo Hotel opened in Chengdu in 2015. Following Chongqing’s opening, the brand’s new flagship hotel, The Murray, Hong Kong, a Niccolo Hotel, is scheduled to debut towards the end of the year.  Other hotel openings include Changsha and Suzhou in 2018 and 2019 respectively, bringing the brand’s portfolio from one to five hotels in two years.
