BANGKOK, 28 September 2017: Discover the World (Thailand) Co Ltd recently commenced trading from new premises in the Vorawat Building at 849 Silom Road, Bangkok.

Under new ownership and with a revitalized stable of travel brands, the global GSA (General Sales Agency) Company plans to grow its portfolio of sales and marketing representation in the Thai market.

New territory director, Brian Sinclair-Thompson, formerly a Swissair executive, based in Bangkok, commented:  “With our dedicated clusters of travel professionals across all brands we are here to assist travel agents, corporate travel bookers, PCO’s and MICE experts on how to improve their sales and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.”

Starting in Bangkok this October the company will host sales seminars across the country with indepth presentations of the company’s products.

“The seminars will be augmented by traditional print, online and social media marketing and advertising campaigns designed to stimulate public interest in the product range and capitalize on the growing national discretionary income spend on travel and leisure,” he said.

In Thailand, Discover the World’s product range currently includes Expedia TAAP; Hertz, Thrifty, Dollar Ace & Firefly Car Rentals; Caesars Entertainment; Alitalia, BMI Regional & Ukraine International Airlines; Traveltek; Azamara, Celebrity, Celestyal & Royal Caribbean Cruises.

“We are in negotiations to add to the brands we represent… Together with our sister company LAAS (LTU Asia Aviation Services) specializing in operations / cargo and passenger handling supervision in Bangkok, Phuket & Krabi, our aim is to offer one stop shop solutions to customers, tailor made to meet their specific and individual requirements across all Industry related functions.”
