LONDON, 25 August 2017: VFS Global completed the acquisition of visa service provider TT Services (TTS) earlier this week a move that strengthens VFS hold on the lucrative visa processing business.

According to VFS Global, thee transaction enables it “to leverage core competences and brands and to further enhance operating performance.”

The press statement says the change in control will have no impact on the business operations of the two companies.

TT Services is a provider of integrated visa processing solutions with global presence and a comprehensive portfolio of services.

TT Services is headquartered in the United Kingdom and has a strong  relationship with its client governments and commercial partners.

The company operates 51 application centres in more than 35 countries and has 216 employees.

VFS Global Group CEO Zubin Karkaria commented: “TT Services has, like VFS Global, extensive industry experience of more than 15 years and is a trusted service delivery partner for its clients. I see a strong fit by TTS joining VFS Global. This will enable us to further enhance and extend our services towards our client governments and visa applicants.”

VFS Global is the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide.

With 2371 Application Centres, it has operations in 129 countries across five continents and over 150 million applications processed as of June this year. It serves the interests of 56 client governments.

VFS Global is headquartered in Dubai, UAE, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Kuoni Group, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.

Swiss-owned Kuoni Group divested  itself of most of its travel related companies in 2015 to 2016 leaving it with just VFS Global, which was identified as the group’s most lucrative business unit.
