TRAT, 7 August 2017: Centara Hotels & Resorts, announced, Friday, the appointment of Thatthep (Kevin) Thamrongwarasart as resort manager of the group’s beach resort in Trat, the far south east province on the Gulf of Thailand.
He has worked for more than 15 years in hotel management. Prior to join Centara he held a senior management position at Sofitel So Bangkok.
Thatthep graduated with a bachelor’s degree in general management from Bangkok University and has a diploma in travel and tourism from Cavendish College London.
Since launching his career at Six Senses Bangkok, he has worked for Sheraton, Dusit, Ritz Carlton and Sofitel in various roles in Thailand.
For Centara, Thatthep will manage an exclusive retreat known for its natural setting on a sandy beach surrounded by jungle. The resort offers villas and suites with private sundecks and jacuzzis, ideal retreats for couples.
An open-air restaurant is a vantage point to enjoy sunsets and views of the straits separating Chang and neighbouring islands from the mainland. The resort is less than an hour drive from the f Trat town and airport.
