JAKARTA, 26 July 2017: The first-ever public relations conference on a global scale in Asia will be hosted in Bali, 20 to 23 September.
The event will be organised by ASEAN Public Relations Network (APRN), and Global Alliance PR and Communication Management.
APRN was established in 2014 and chaired by its founder, Prita Kemal Gani, who is also a former chair of Perhumas and owner of the London School of Public Relations.
“The aims of the conference are to connect and network industry’s champions, academia, professionals, VIPs and potential customers. Through this exercise, participants can gain better insight on the how communication can position ASEAN globally competitive as well as how to maximise and harvest ASEAN’s brands towards its full potential,” said Gani.
This conference will invite prominent speakers from businesses, academia, professionals, thought leaders and VIP officials from all over ASEAN countries.
This three-day conference consists of pre conference programs such as Submission of Papers/Abstract, Association workshops and a welcome reception.
Conference organisers admitted that flights to and from Bali around September might be an issue because it is a peak season mont for tourism.
Three different prices apply for attending depending on the package chosen. One focuses on pre conference delivery of papers/abstracts, 20 September 2017. The second focuses on the main conference scheduled 21 and 22 September. The third module covers post conference activities such as tours.
Based in Jakarta, ASEAN Public Relations Network represents 500.000 practitioners and academics around the world and 160.000 from the American PR Society alone.
