DANANG, 19 June 2017: Centara Hotels & Resorts has reopened the 198-room Centara Sandy Beach Resort Danang following an extensive renovation and upgrade.

The resort is located on Non Nuoc beach, a 20-minutes drive from Danang’s airport and close to two championship golf courses. The resort targets vacationing families and couples, as well as weddings and business events.

The choice of accommodations includes rooms, villas and bungalows that have up to 92 square metres of living space.

The resort’s new-designed premium rooms and suites feature furnished balconies with views of the East Sea, forested mountains and the resort’s 42 acres of gardens.

For families with young children, Centara offers a children’s pool, Kids’ Club, and babysitting service.

The resort also offers a fitness centre, tennis court, games area, and activities such as kayaking, beach volleyball and kite flying.

Amenities include Centara’s SPA Cenvaree and two new restaurants, giving the resort a total of five.

For weddings and business events, the resort has two flexible function rooms with seating for up to 90 persons, plus outdoor areas popular for large receptions. The garden, or beachfront pool areas can accommodate cocktail, banquet or cabaret functions of several hundred guests.

“Centara Sandy Beach Resort Danang benefits from one of the most beautiful sites in Vietnam,” said Centara Hotels & Resorts chief executive officer, Thirayuth Chirathivat. “Our goal when we upgraded the rooms, facilities and landscaping was a resort deserving of its exceptional natural surroundings. We wanted the result to be a vacation or event that would be unforgettable.”
