SINGAPORE, 31 January 2017: InterContinental Hotels Group has introduced its latest deal for loyal guests with its Double Play Double Points promotion.
Loyalty programme members can double points they earn on bookings made through participating IHG hotels, worldwide.
The reward points can be earned on accommodation, meetings and events bookings (capped at USD20,000) made by 15 April, this year, for events and stays up until 31 August.
That means for every USD1 a member spends on bookings up to a capped USD20,000, they earn six points (instead of three) and for members spending over this capped dollar amount, six points will be earned for every USD1 on the first USD20,000 spent, before reverting back to earning three points for every USD1 thereafter.
Double points can be accumulated on any spend. In addition, members have the opportunity to reap richer rewards for high value bookings by earning an additional 35,000 supplementary points, with a minimum spending of USD20,000, on a single event or individual booking.
The hotel group’s Asia, Middle East and Africa vice president, customer loyalty marketing, Samantha Llewellyn, IHG noted the Double Play Promotion designed to provide even more value to our corporate bookers.
