Vietnam sets up hotline


QUANG BINH, 31 May 2016: Quang Binh tourism authorities recently set up a hotline to improve communications and services for tourists.

Local media reported the hotline, which was officially started 19 May, includes two phone numbers, (052) 3833399 and (052) 3503399.

The Tourism Promotion Information Centre under the Quang Binh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will receive calls from tourists and provide them with support.

inside no 3Besides accepting feedback regarding local tourism services and improving security for visitors, the hotline will serve as information provider on tourism.

Located on the north-central coast, Quang Binh province is well-known for its natural attractions, especially the ‘Kingdom of Caves’, a complex of over 300 caves,  in the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, which was recognised as a World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2013.

The province is home to 245 accommodation establishments with 3,848 rooms and about 7,000 beds.

In 2015, Quang Binh welcomed approximately 3 million tourists, and visits should reach 3.5 million this year.
