CNTA shares tourism strategy with PATA


BANGKOK, 29 April 2016: China’s powerful, tourism agency CNTA says it will strengthen communications and cooperation with the Pacific Asia Travel Association and other international organisations to advance project related to regional tourism.

China National Tourism Administration chairman, Li Jinzao, made the comments during a meeting held with PATA CEO, Mario Hardy earlier this week in Beijing.

He said China’s tourism industry was shifting its tourism development mode from spot-based to region-based, which would see the industry advancing projects related to region-based tourism.

inside no 5This would include tourism for poverty alleviation as well as tourism for diplomacy in China and the entire Asia Pacific region.

Chairman Li called on PATA to make full use of its strengths to promote regional tourism cooperation in the Asia Pacific region and help to create a safer, more convenient and more comfortable environment for tourists.
