Record attendance forecast for SATTE


NEW DELHI, 19 January 2016: The 23rd edition of SATTE, South Asia’s leading travel trade show will take place 29 to 31 January in New Delhi, India.

The show should attract around 750 exhibitors and participants from around 35 countries and 27 Indian states.

Foreign Tourism Boards such as Brand USA, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Changi Airport (Singapore), Egypt, Mexico, Malaysia, Spain, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Israel, Thailand, Indonesia, Jordan, Turkey, Macau, Fiji, Bhutan, Cambodia, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Romania and Russia amongst others have confirmed their participation.

inside no 5“Tourism means jobs, exports and economic growth…creates opportunities for small and medium-enterprises in charge of guaranteeing an innovative and diversified economy… It is with these ideas in mind that I commend SATTE for providing an indispensable platform for the global tourism and travel sector to network,” said World Tourism Organisation Secretary-General Taleb Rifai in his message to SATTE.

Last year, SATTE 2015 recorded participation of around 700 exhibitors. It attracted more than 16,000 visitors.

The event is organised by UBM India an exhibition organiser that hosts 25 large scale exhibitions and 40 conferences across the country annually.
