Airlines slash fares at TITF

BANGKOK, 26 February 2015: Airlines are cutting fares by around 20% during the 16th Thai International Travel Fair at Queen Sirikit Convention Centre that closes this Sunday.

Nok Air sells a one-way fare, inclusive of airport taxes and surcharges, departing Bangkok at THB850 to Phitsanulok, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani, Khon Kaen, Sakon Nakhon, and Surat Thani.

A THB950 fare is on offer to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Nan, Roi Et, Loei, Nakhon Phanom, Krabi, Hat Yai, Phuket, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Trang.

A THB1,150 fare is available to  Mae Sot, Phrae, Chumphon, Buri Ram, Ranong including Chiang Mai-Udon Thani and to Yangon in Myanmar.

Inside 4The travel period is 5 March to 30 September, this year.

Thai AirAsia is selling a one-way fare at THB590 to Phitsanulok, Nan, Loei, Roi Et, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Phanom, Krabi and Hat Yai.

A THB690 fare sells to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Trang, Surat Thani, and Nakhon Si Thammarat.

A THB840 fare sells on Fly-Thru services to Khanom, Khao Lak, Pai, Sukhothai, Kalasin, Mukdahan and Mahasarakham. A THB1,090 fare sells to — Tao, Samui, Phang Ngan, Lipe, Lanta, Phi Phi, Ngai, and Yao Noi.

For international routes, a THB1,090 fare is available to Yangon and Ho Chi Minh City, THB1,290 to Hanoi, Phnom Penh, Singapore, and Siem Reap, and THB1,690 to Penang and Mandalay.

Inside 4.1A THB2,090 fare sells to China’s Kunming, Shenzhen, Changsha, Chongqing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Macau and Hong Kong.

The promotion travel period is 15 March to 15 December this year.

THAI Smile sells inclusive one-way fares from Don Mueang Airport starting at THB1,090 to Khon Kaen and THB1,190 to Chiang Mai and Phuket.

Ex-Suvarnabhumi Airport, the airline also starts at THB1,090 to Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, and Surat Thani, while a THB1,190 sells to Chiang Rai, Krabi and Hat Yai.

A THB1,890 sells to Chiang Mai to Phuket and  THB2,790 on  the Bangkok-Macau route.

Inside 4.2The travel period ends 24 October this year.

Bangkok Airways presents a one-way inclusive fare at THB1,090 to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Udon Thani, Sukhothai, Trat, and Krabi.

A THB1,390 sells to Phuket and THB2,390 to Samui.

The airline also offers inclusive roundtrip fares to international routes starting at THB5,260 to Vientiane, THB5,960 Luang Prabang, and THB5,730 Yangon.

A THB6,080 fare sells to Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, and THB6,610 to Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw.

Other fares: THB9,050 to Dhaka; THB9,685 Mumbai; and THB15,230 Maldives.

The travel period is 16 April to 31 October this year.

International routes

V Air sells a THB999 fare, exclusive of airport taxes, to Taipei from Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Travel period 1 March to 30 April this year.

Philippine Airlines introduces a roundtrip fare THB1,900, exclusive of taxes and surcharges, on Bangkok-Manila route. The travel period is until 31 December.

Malaysia Airlines sells inclusive roundtrip fares starting at THB4,950 to Kuala Lumpur and THB6,900 to Kota Kinabalu.

Inside 4.3Fares to Asian destinations: THB8,250 to Hong Kong; THB9,250 Bali; THB9,750 Taipei; THB9,990 Maldives; THB13,800 Seoul; and THB13,950 Tokyo and Osaka.

A THB11,700 fare sells to Dubai.

Cathay Pacific and Dragonair sell roundtrip fares, inclusive airport taxes and fees, (ex-Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket) start at THB6,690 to Hong Kong, and to THB7,100 Singapore.

Fares to Taiwan start at THB9,400 to Kaohsiung, Taichung, and Taipei, while a THB14,000 fare sells to South Korea’s Jeju, Incheon, and Busan.

All the airlines’ promotional fares are valid for fair goers to book until Sunday evening, 1 March, except for Etihad and Qatar Airways; open to book until 3 March, Malaysia Airliness until 10 March and Philippine Airlines until 31 December this year.
