CX promoted premium economy

BANGKOK, 16 August 2012: Cathay Pacific Airways launches a premium economy class promotion today quoting fares that are just Bt3,000 higher than the standard economy fares.
Cathay Pacific introduces its premium economy class on selected long-haul routes to New York, Sydney, Toronto, Vancouver and London.
It will be progressively introduce the service to Adelaide, Los Angeles, Melbourne and San Francisco routes during the remainder of the month, Frankfurt in September and Brisbane and Mumbai in October. By the end of 2012, 48 of its aircraft will feature premium economy class.
The fares exclusive of taxes and surcharges start from Bt53,500 to Los Angeles and San Francisco; Bt57,600 to New York ; Bt54,500 to Vancouver; Bt64,000 to Toronto; Bt57,400 to London, Paris and Frankfurt; Bt54,300 to Johannesburg and Bt41,300 to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
Taxes and surcharges to Australia are around Bt14,000, while the US and Canada are Bt12,000 and around Bt13,500 to Europe (London, Bt20,000).
Premium economy passengers have a dedicated check in counter, get 25 kg baggage allowance; more leg room and eight inches of recline; greeted with a champagne and juice and a hot towel, complimentary bottled water and snacks throughout the flight.
