Wellness training on offer

BANGKOK, 12 July 2012: The College of Innovation, Thammasat University, is hosting training courses on health and wellness tourism, 18 to 26 August.

The courses will focus on understanding travellers, products and services and how to manage the business successfully.

To make the training more convenient for workers, there are two sessions 18 to 19 August and 25 to 26 August from 0900 to 1600 at the College of Innovation Thammasat University Pattaya campus in Chonburi province.

Sessions cover five major areas led by the Asian Institute of Technology head of development management, Fail Shah. The five areas are:

• Health and wellness tourism industry;

• Wellness tourism and health promotion;

• Health and wellness tourism product development;

• Motivations and profiles of health and wellness tourists;

• Medical tourism: an Asian perspective.

Training will be conducted in English at both presentation and group work sessions. Registration is Bt8,000 per person for a four-day training programme excluding lunch.
