Compared to other carriers operating nonstop services to South Asia, THAI’s promotional fares are good value, although not the cheapest. But they are competitive enough.
For example, to Dhaka, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, sells its lowest fare at Bt11,465 while Bangkok Airways sells at Bt12,935.
To Colombo, Sri Lankan Airlines quotes Bt10,775 and Cathay Pacific Airways, Bt10,970.

As for India, there are nonstop flights by other carriers to four cities — Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.
To Delhi, they are; Jet Airways from Bt11,335; Air India, from Bt12,235; Cathay Pacific Airways, Bt14,005 and low-cost Indigo Airlines, Bt8,997.

To Kolkata, the options are Jet Airways, Bt9,365 and Thai AirAsia, Bt6,590;
To Chennai, only Thai AirAsia operates flights quoting fares from Bt7,120.
In addition, THAI offers promotional one-way fares to or from Udon Thani and Hat Yai until 31 July.
Sawasdee Udon, valid for one-way travel on Monday to Thursday, sells at Bt1,800 from Bangkok and Bt1,750 from Udon Thani.
Hat Yai Delight sells at Bt2,500 per sector, either way. The fare is valid only for travel from Bangkok on its 0605 and 1005 flights and from Hat Yai, 0815 and 1215 flights.

The so called ” Discount Fares” offered by Thai Inter are certainly not the cheapest available. For instance one can purchase a return ticket CMB/BKK for
about Bhat 6000 on a regular carrier and on a budget carrier for less than
Bhat 5000
