Cutting to the core of AEC
BANGKOK, 25 July 2012: The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau will host a free seminar on the ASEAN Economic Community 2015, 1 August at the Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre.
The topic is AEC 2015: Cutting Edge Strategies for MICE Industry.
The seminar has the support of the Department of Tourism, Thai Exhibition Association, Thailand Incentives and Conventions Association, Thai Hotels Association and the Department of Trade Negotiations.
It will feature two presentations, two panel discussions and a trade session. The seminar will open with a presentation by TCEB MICE capabilities department director, Nichapa Yoswee, on the topic of readiness for AEC 2015.
Department of Trade Negotiations deputy director general, Somkiat Triratanapan, will follow with an evaluation of the impacts on trade and tourism.
The discussion will cover the topic “ Cutting Edge Strategies for the MICE Industry” led by Buncha Chumchaivate and representatives from the Department of Trade Negotiation and the commercial counselor from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.
