Turkish adds more US services

ISTANBUL, 21 June 2012: Turkish Airlines earlier this week announced it will fly to Houston in the US from 1 April 2013 in addition to the current services to Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Washington DC.
The airline will operate four weekly services, on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
Last month, the airline increased services to New York from twice to three daily due to an increase in bookings to US destinations.
According to an earlier announcement, Turkish Airlines will commencd a service to Ta’if in Saudi Arabia, 20 June and will start services to Ulan Bator in Mongolia 2 July.
By 16 July, it will operate flights from Istanbul to Aalborg and Billund in Denmark and Edinburg in Scotland followed by Osh in Kyrgyzstan 18 July.
Next year, it will end services to Berlin’s Tegel Airport and transfer all services to Berlin’s Brandenburg Airport from 17 March. The new airport was supposed to open July but faced delays.
