  1. John says:

So will the governor include the travel advisories, the cancellations, the invented arrival figures, the single-digit hotel occupancy rates, the empty airline seats and the shake-downs? I doubt it. The Road Map will be FAMs, junkets for him and his staff, film festivals (lots of opportunity there) and not a single practical suggestion as to how to create a long-term tourism brand in a country fraught with political decay.

  2. Your story about K. Suraphon’s address on the topic of “Thai Tourism Roadmap” fails to mention the date and time of K. Suraphon’s address on the topic of “Thai Tourism Roadmap.” This information would be helpful to readers, if not minimally acceptable journalism.

Point taken: The seminar has a long list of speakers, but the TAT governor is due to make his roadmap presentation 1400, 15 September.
There are three session over two days each costing Bt800. All three sessions cost Bt1,800 for members and Bt2,800 for non-members.

I reckon the THA website gives you the runaround too. The programme is not easy to locate. We have included a link to the full programme PDF at the bottom of the story to speed up the search.
