Emirates flies to Madrid

Bangkok, 6 August 2010 – Emirates has inaugurated a daily service to Madrid, the capital city of Spain. Passengers from Thailand change aircraft in Dubai with around a one and a half hour connecting time.
As the Madrid flight departs Dubai at 0725, the best flight out of four daily services ex- Bangkok in order to achieve a seamless connection at Dubai is EK 419 departing at 0240 and arriving at 0545.
The return flight departs Madrid at 1615 and arrives in Dubai at 0105, on the following day. Passengers bound for Bangkok have a two-hour wait before connecting with the flight to Bangkok at 0315.
Emirates’ best economy class fare is currently Bt43,390.
Thai Airways International operates a non-stop service between Bangkok and Madrid three times a week. The best fare is Bt41,525, all in.
Both fares are subject to change due to currency fluctuation and offered at limited seats.
Madrid is Emirates’ fourth destination that has come online this year after Tokyo, Amsterdam and Prague.
