BANGKOK 4 August 2010 ― Air Berlin has rolled out a new promotion called “Autumn Special” for flights ex-Bangkok to various European destinations.

The promotion covers: Berlin; Cologne; Copenhagen; Düsseldorf; Frankfurt; Gothenburg; Hamburg; Helsinki, Karlsruhe; Munich; Nuremberg; Oslo; Paris; Stockholm; Stuttgart; Vienna and Zurich.

This offer starts from Bt16,990 (round-trip fare excluding taxes and fuel surcharge) and is valid for travel period from 1 September to 31 October 2010. Bookings and ticketing have to be made by 31 October 2010. Seats are limited and special conditions apply.

Like other campaigns and promotions initiated by the German airline, the Autumn Special underscores the airline’s claims to offer the Thai market an extensive network of destinations across Europe, not just in Germany.

Flights ex-Bangkok serve three gateway points – Berlin, Düsseldorf and Munich – with connections through to other European destinations ticketed into the promotional fares.

Air Berlin flies to 168 destinations in 40 countries. In 2009, the airline carried around 28 million passengers and has recently signed a MoU to join the global aviation alliance Oneworld. Full membership is planned for the start of 2012. From November 2010, Air Berlin will operate code-share flights with American Airlines and Finnair.
