Diethelm adds top management

BANGKOK, 3 June 2010 – Diethelm Travel Group, latest recruitment drive strengthens its senior management team in the highly competitive regional destination management arena. The company currently has 29 offices in 12 Asian countries.

According to the company’s press release, Victoria Sertic has joined the company in the newly created position of chief sales officer. Nataly Wanhoff and Nicolas Rabier have been appointed as Laos and Myanmar managing directors respectively.

Ms Sertic’s most recent post was regional director of sales and marketing at Six Senses Resorts & Spas. She has over 15 years in the travel industry, with extensive knowledge of Africa, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, North America and Southeast Asia and worked with the UK based Thomas Cook Group.

Diethelm Travel Laos new managing director, Nataly Wanhoff, spent nine years working for Ikarus based in Germany, responsible for creating trekking and study itineraries everywhere from Uzbekistan to Japan. After a time with a tour operator as general manager for Cambodia, she became director of sales at Victoria Hotels & Resorts in Vietnam and Cambodia.

Heading the company’s Myanmar office, Nicolas Rabier spent 10 years in Asia, starting as sales manager with Nikko Hotel in Yangon. He was resident manager at La Residence d’Angkor in Siem Reap, and operations manager with Road To Mandalay for Orient-Express in Yangon.
