New search in WebStart

Abacus International launched a new version of Abacus WebStart – a white label internet booking engine (IBE) tailored for the Asian region.

The latest version adds a new fare search and payment capabilities.

“Abacus is focused on delivering solutions designed to meet the complex needs of Asian markets. Abacus WebStart is already the most broadly deployed IBE in the region. It is a low cost, highly effective solution that helps our customers to capture new revenue opportunities in online channels.” said Abacus International, vice president, Marketing, Brett Henry.

“The new Abacus WebStart integrates with Abacus FareX, a net fares solution, giving agencies confidence that their customers have access to the best available fares. In addition, this user-friendly tool is coupled with mark-up fees capabilities,” added Mr Henry.

Another new feature incorporated is covers online payments making it easier to manage essential features and allow agencies to safely transact online.

“As the online business segment moves at a fast pace, agencies will need to proactively retool their online business shop front to gain a competitive edge in the market. The launch of these new enhancements will provide them with a good head start in the thriving internet space,” continued Mr Henry.
