MAI adds online bookings

Myanmar Airways International is set to increase capacity between Bangkok and Yangon with one extra morning flight on Friday and introduce an online booking site.

Currently, MAI  operates nine flights a week; one daily flight in the evening and two morning flights on Thursday and Sunday. From 28 March, until the end of the summer schedule, 30 October, it will add a morning flight on Friday.

The evening flight departs Yangon at 1600 and returns from Bangkok at 1925. The morning Bangkok-bound flight departs at 0730 and returns from Bangkok at 1020.

Recently the airline launched an online booking service at www.maiair.com. The airline is selling online tickets for Bt7,645 roundtrip (Bt5,605 fare and Bt2,040 taxes and surcharges).
