Major shuffle at TAT

Tourism Authority of Thailand’s board of directors recently approved the appointment of six deputies and 13 executive directors, effective 25 January.
According to the TAT governor, Suraphon Svetasreni, the appointments were based on “seniority, work ability and, dedication”.
The six new deputy governors are:
Juthaporn Rerngronasa moves from international marketing deputy governor to a newly created post of deputy governor European, Africa, Middle East and Americas.
Sansern Ngaorangsi has been promoted from East Asia region executive director, to deputy governor Asia and South Pacific.
Prakit Piriyakiat has been promoted from Asean, South Asia and South Pacific region executive director, to deputy governor marketing communications, a post that was previously held by Suraphon Svetasreni, the new governor.
Udom Methathamrongsiri moves from advisor 10 to deputy governor policy and planning, while Suwanchai Ritthirak, has been promoted from events department executive director, to advisor 10.
Vilaiwan Twichasri has been promoted from finance department executive director to deputy governor administration.
There are 13 executive director appointments:
Aroonsri Srimekhanond moves from northeast region executive director, to risk management executive director.
Apichart Intharapongpan moves from human resources department executive director to northeast region executive director. Anupharp Thirarath, has been promoted from Europe, Africa and Middle East market division director to Mr Apichart’s former post.
Chana Chaichanayotinvatchara has been promoted from payment audit division director, to finance department executive director replacing Ms Vilaiwan who moved to a deputy governor post.
Satit Nillwongse moves from southern region executive director, to East Asia region executive director replacing Mr Sansern, who who is now a deputy governor. Mr Satit’s position has been taken over by Poramet Amatyakul, previously the Rayong Office director.
Pongsathorn Kessasamli moves from marketing services department executive director, to Asean, South Asia and South Pacific region executive director replacing Mr Prakit who is now a deputy governor. Phanom Kaributra, who was previously Information Technology Office executive director, takes over as marketing services department executive director.
Suchada Borsub moves from tourism investment department executive director, to information technology office executive director. She is replaced by Wallapa Kaewpaithool, who was an information technology office assistant executive director.
Wiwatchai Boonyapak moves from product promotion department executive director, to events department executive director replacing Mr Suwanchai who is now a deputy governor.
Pattamat Wongpattanasiri moves from advertising and public relations department executive director, to product promotion department executive director.
Sugree Sithivanich, has been promoted from international advertising publicity division director to executive director of advertising and public relations.
