SAS introduces a SMS service that notifies passengers of delays or cancelled flights. The  service is free of charge.

If a delay occurs, a text message will be sent automatically to passengers who have provided their mobile phone details in their booking record.

Members of SAS’ frequent flyer programme, EuroBonus, also receive other travel information such as gate information via the same channel.

For passengers who book on www.flysas.com, or at the SAS sales centre, SMS messages will be sent automatically to the mobile number given to SAS. Passengers who book with a travel agent should make sure their mobile number has been inserted in the booking record.

The new service is available on SAS or Blue 1 flights, except for flights originating in Dubai, Germany, Russia and Switzerland.

For more information, call 02 645 8200 or visit: www.flysas.com/th.
