CX sells smart saver fares

Cathay Pacific Airways introduces Smart Saver online fares, available for travel in business and economy class to Japan, Korea, Singapore, North America and China, until 28 February.
hv’Business class fares, exclusive of taxes and surcharges, are: Bt31,000 to Seoul; Bt40,000 to Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka; Bt18,500 to Hong Kong; Bt12,700 to Singapore; Bt23,500 to Beijing; Bt21,500 to Shanghai; Bt95,000 to Los Angeles and Bt125,000 to New York.
Economy class fares are: Bt12,500 to Korea; Bt12,000 to Japanese cities; Bt7,500 to Hong Kong; Bt4,100 to Singapore; Bt10,000 to Chinese cities; Bt29,000 to Los Angeles and Bt32,000 to New York.
Until 28 February, CX offers a double mile promotion for frequent flyer members making trips to North America – Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Vancouver or Toronto. All members must register for this promotion at www.asiamiles.com by 20 February 2010. Travel must commence and be completed between 1 November this year and 28 February 2010. Other conditions apply.
In addition, the airline sells a Fly’n See package for rugby fans to watch the Hong Kong Sevens 2010, 26 to 28 March 2010.
A four-days/three-night package starts from Bt31,100 and five-day/four-night, from Bt35,400. For fare and game ticket only, economy class costs Bt18,700 and business class, Bt33,700. Packages are on sale until 11 March next year.
