CX launches Milan service

Cathay Pacific Airways will start a new service, 28 March 2010, from Hong Kong to the north-Italian city of Milan.

The new four-times-weekly service will use a Boeing 777-300ER ultra-long-haul aircraft with a three-class configuration.

Cathay Pacific has been serving Rome since April 1986, when it launched a service to the capital city, Rome. It currently offers a daily passenger service to Rome and a six weekly freighter service to Milan.

Cathay Pacific AirwaysAlso effective 28 March, three flights a week will be added to the existing daily service to Toronto. The additional services will depart Hong Kong at 0245 every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday while the existing daily flights will depart at 1610 from Hong Kong.

By 1 May, it will add three flights a week to Los Angeles increasing the frequency to 17 a week.
