11-Infotech, a software developer for the travel industry, will launch its newest product called, Smart Hotel Online, during ITB Asia in Singapore.
The company specialises in developing B2B and B2C solutions to enable travel agencies and hotels to establish an online sales presence.
The company’s CEO business development, Chartchai Pothong, intends to launch a suite of online solutions during ITB Asia, 21 to 23 October. He hopes to sell its products to other exhibitors and visiting travel company representatives at the show.
The launch will include an evening cocktail party hosted by Mr Chartchai, 22 October, at the Marina Mandarin Hotel, in Singapaore.
He told TTR Weekly: “This system allows hotels to connect with business partners, worldwide, through a platform that has XML capability, widely used especially in Europe and the US.
“Hotel chains have invested in this technology but independent hotels lag behind, which means customers have to go to each hotel website to book.”
He says hotels that work with a B2C hotel booking website will discover Smart Hotel Online allows them to post the exact number of free rooms, with appropriate rates, at any single time on the site. This means the customer sees real-time rates, bookings and confirmations with no delays in the processing.
He claims the technology has not been fully adopted by Thailand’s hotels in contrast with neighbouring countries such as Malaysia and Singapore, where it is widely used.
“Our products are designed to suit SMEs and independent operators, by easing the process and giving them control over inventory,” he said. “Smart Hotel Online offers real time information and data with dynamic room allotments. It allows a hotel to deliver allotments in each rate category to distribution channels, whether online travel agencies or hotel booking systems.”
Other features include: Real-time connection to banks for E-payments; yield management through allotment rates control; fully automated compulsory and supplemental calculations; minimum-stay and packages reservations system; travel agency credit control and other back-of-the-house support to improve business.
Mr Chartchai believes Thailand’s travel agencies and independent hotels need to play catch up by adopting the latest tools to do business online.
The cost to catch up is US$2,000 for each module.
11-Infotech also has two other products for travel related enterprises. They are Travflex for e-bookings with online distribution and TTS for tour operators to manage their offices.
In the Thai market, the company expects to grow the business by 20% this year. The company will be exhibiting at ITB Asia, Singapore, during 21 to 23 October, hall 602, booth i31.

Visit Asia Travel aim to connect South East Asia, especially Indochina to the rest of the world via its XML connection with the help of 11-Infotech System.
We supply enough hotel rooms with allotment to bookers who seek for instant confirmation. Any hotel that use this Smart Hotel online booking engine is advantage due to they can connect their online booking engine to the world famous booking engine sites via http://www.visitasiatravel.com as a gateway.
I am very confident that with the professionalism of 11-Infotech Smart Hotel online team will be able to archieve our goal in the near future and I am very sure that this will benefit directly to hotels in increasing their higher occupancy.
This is what Jewel Tours and travel agents are expecting for such a long time which will give us more handfree in order to control hotels allocation and maximize sales volume toward hotels. We hope that Mr. Chartchai Pathong & 11Infortech will have a demonstration to hotels in Vietnam soon with this Smart Hotels Solutions.
Wish to tounch Smart Hotels at the show
This all-in-one solution seems like it will classify and organize a new structure and improve efficiency of the way hotel accommodations are transacted.
Smart Hotel Solutions sound like the basic infrastructure of the future!!! It could just probably be the Gateway to Biometric / Eyeball Check-ins without any form of identification!
I cannot wait to get my hands to try this software solution!
I fully agree to the comment and remark of Chartchai Pathong. South-East Asia needs to build up infrastructure to prepare themselves of the changes in distribution methodology as quickly as possible. E-Commerce unable width of distribution, giving a wider coverage as well as speed of changes to pricing reacting to the demand and supplies curve and availability of inventories at hand. It is speed, width and yield optimisation.
I really hope that this system will connect my hotel to a much broader market, as Laos is a relatively new destination for tourists and corporate travellers around the world. Instead of going through other channels, online bookers can book directly with our hotel and get a clear picture about the hotel informations and finally get instant confirmation.
Right now, the way hotels are being sold in Laos are still on a very traditional method i.e. through wholesalers, DMCs and local tour operators.
I definitely look forward to jump onboard with Smart Hotel Solutions.
What do you think?
