Asean-Japan workshop

Tourism Authority of Thailand and Asean-Japan Centre invite inbound travel entrepreneurs who specialise in the Japanese market to join a workshop to improve their skills, as well as, implement appropriate marketing strategies to cater Japanese tourists.
The “Quality Service Training Workshop in Thailand for FY 2009” will be held 11 – 13 November at Morakot Room 3, Emerald Hotel, Bangkok.
The workshop offers intermediate level training and will be conducted in Japanese with no interpreters. It targets Japanese-speaking parties in the tourism industry who deal with Japanese tourists. These include 40 travel agencies hotels, guides, restaurant staff and souvenir shop sales clerks.
The seminar agenda includes lectures, role-playing, and question-answer sessions. Guest speakers include Office Yama president Yoshinori Yama, and ASEAN-Japan Centre acting director of tourism and exchange Joukei Fuchigami.
The seminar is free, but TAT reserves the right to select participants. Only one person per agency will be considered.
