AHRA Congress organises seminars

Thai Hotels Association is hosting seminars as part of the 11th Asean Hotel and Restaurant Association Congress, 2 to 3 September, held in conjunction with the Food and Hotel Thailand 2009, at the Royal Paragon Hall, 5th floor, Siam Paragon, Bangkok.
Seminar topics:
Day 1: ‘A Bright New Future – The Vision for Asean Hospitality in 2010′ presents viewpoints from executives in the low-cost airlines business, hotel groups and investment institutes. English language.
Day 2: ‘Market Opportunities’ looks at global trends such as green hotels, domestic markets via credit card joint ventures, senior citizen resorts and disability tourism and ethical tourism. Thai language.
Day 3: ‘Change to Survive: Restructuring Business Models to Achieve Goals’ looks at the hotel business after several crisis and suggests changes in hotel marketing, access to cyber marketing, outsourcing as a new solution for hotel staffing, and changes in hotel management. Thai language.
Fees for THA members are: Bt856 for one day, Bt1,712 for two days and Bt1,926 for three days. For non-members, the fees are Bt1,284, Bt2,568 and Bt2,996.
