Group claims it will have 20 properties in Indonesia by 2013.
Best Western hotel owners and senior corporate business development and marketing executives from Asia attended the group’s 6th Asian Members Meeting, held at New Kuta Condotel, Bali, Indonesia, last week.
The property hosting the event is the first Best Western hotel in Indonesia.
“The business agenda focused on opportunities that still undoubtedly exist even in today’s challenging trading conditions,” said Best Western International vice president operations – Asia, Glenn de Souza.
Besides owners of hotels that pay a membership to be part of the franchise network delegates included executives from Best Western area development office.
The group targets 20 hotels in Indonesia by 2013 and hopes to pass Accor, currently the largest hotel group in Asia Pacific, in recruiting hotel members this side of 2020.
